The Reaction of Winter Oilseed Rape to Different Foliar Fertilization with Macro- and Micronutrients

نویسندگان

چکیده

Foliar fertilization provides cultivated plants with the necessary nutrients during growing season. The conducted field experiment was aimed at comparing effectiveness of different variants foliar applied in cultivation winter oilseed rape (Brassica napus L.), cultivar ‘ES Cesario’. experimental factors were: A (control), B (YaraVita Brassitrel Pro), C Pro and YaraVita Thiotrac), D Bortrac), E Bortrac Thiotrac) F Thiotrac). Weather conditions were variable over years study had a modifying effect on most tested parameters. Intensive (variants E) resulted significant increase number pods per plant, seed fat yields, SPAD (soil plant analysis development) LAI (leaf area index) indices compared to control. protein yield highest after fertilizer applications E. use Thiotrac alone (variant F) did not provide expected results. fertilizers variant increased Gs stomatal conductance) measurements content seeds but decreased TSW content. It shown that intensive boron Fat yields strongly positively correlated (r = 0.93 r 0.71, respectively). best economic obtained applying E; therefore, they can be recommended for agricultural practice.

An Offline Algorithm for Site-specific Nitrogen Fertilization of Winter Oilseed Rape Based on Autumnal Canopy Nitrogen Uptake

Introduction Winter oilseed rape (WOSR) is grown in Germany on approx. 1.5 million ha (Statistisches Bundesamt 2010). Almost two-thirds of this is used as renewable resource for producing bio diesel (Fachagentur Nachwachsende Rohstoffe 2011). The bioenergy policy on the EU and national level therefore have an enormous impact on the profitability of this crop. The EU Directives 2009/28/EC and 20...

Characterization of the pollen beetle, Brassicogethes aeneus, dispersal from woodlands to winter oilseed rape fields

Many crop pests rely on resources out of crop fields; understanding how they colonize the fields is an important factor to develop integrated pest management. In particular, the time of crop colonization and damage severity might be determined by pest movements between fields and non-crop areas. Notably, the pollen beetle, Brassicogethes aeneus, previously named Meligethes aeneus, one of the mo...

Evaluation of growth and seed yield of new winter oilseed rape (Brassica napus L.) genotypes under terminal drought stress conditions

Breeding and production of drought tolerant cultivars for arid and semi-arid area is very important. The present experiment was carried out to evaluate the effects of drought stress on seed yield and yield components of oilseed rape as well as identification of high yielding and drought stress tolerant genotypes. Eighteen new winter oilseed rape lines and commercial cultivars were evaluated und...

Interrelationships among oilseed rape (Brassica napus L.) grain yield and weed growth under different nitrogen levels

Management of nitrogen fertilization in crops is one of the most important components of integrated weed management. A two-year field experiment was conducted to determine the direct effects of wild mustard aboveground biomass and N content of wild mustard on oilseed rape yield. A set of factorial treatments was arranged in a randomized complete block design with four replications. Treatments w...
